There are two separate services that you need for a working web site - a domain and a web hosting plan for it. If you type the domain in your web browser, you see the content that is uploaded inside the hosting account, but if that domain is not linked to such an account or to an e-mail service, it is parked. In other words, the domain is registered and you are its owner, but it does not have any content of its own. As a substitute, it can open either a pre-made “Under Construction / For Sale” page from the registrar company, or it can be directed to any other URL of your choice. The main advantage of parking a domain name is that you can keep it and ensure that no one else will take it. Meanwhile, it will not block a slot for a hosted domain name inside your account. In addition, you can park domain names if you have a .com, for instance, and you register domains with other extensions such as .net, .org or country-code ones to direct them to the main site in order to protect a brand name.

Parked Domains in Shared Hosting

You will be able to park as many domain names as you want with any of the shared hosting plans we offer. Naturally, this feature is available only for domain addresses registered with us as the service is always provided only by the registrar. As opposed to many companies, we do not charge anything extra for parking a domain name and the process takes only a few clicks in your Hepsia CP. We have a couple of parking templates to pick from where you can add custom text. If you choose to host a parked domain address in the future, adding it to your account requires only a click. Everything required for your website to start showing up, such as creating a domain folder and creating DNS records is going to be done automatically by our system. Our feature-rich Domain Manager tool will allow you to view a full list of the domain addresses that you've registered using our company and you can set a filter to see only the parked or just the hosted ones.

Parked Domains in Semi-dedicated Hosting

Our Linux semi-dedicated hosting do not have a set limit for the amount of domain names that you could park. This option is available for domain addresses which are registered through our company and not ones that are only hosted, since the service is always provided only by the registrar. Parking any one of your domains is really easy and takes a few clicks with the feature-rich Domain Manager instrument, which you can access using your Hepsia hosting CP. You're going to have a variety of parking templates to choose from and you can add custom text to any of them - Under Construction, For Sale, Parked Domain, and the like. Un-parking a domain address is just as easy and what is more, our system will set up all the necessary records and it will create a folder within the File Manager section automatically, so you will not have to do a single thing manually.
