Ubuntu in VPS Web Hosting
Ubuntu is available with all of our Linux VPS web hosting and you can obtain a VPS running it in less than one hour. 32-bit and 64-bit editions of the OS are available, so that you'll be able to choose the one which you need if the software that you wish to run on the website hosting server has specific system requirements in this regard. You can also select whether your Ubuntu-powered VPS should be installed without a Control Panel, in which case you will have full root access and you will be able to install anything through a console; or if the Hepsia Control Panel should be set up on it, in which case you'll have an online interface and all of the necessary web server, MySQL, FTP, e-mail server, etcetera. software will be pre-installed. The root access in the second case will be more limited, but this type of setup is more effective for users with less experience. We will also maintain your Ubuntu up-to-date on a regular basis if you add the Managed Services upgrade. You will be able to do this throughout the VPS order process or at any later time via your billing Control Panel.
Ubuntu in Dedicated Servers Hosting
Ubuntu is one of the OS options which you can find on our registration page in case you decide to get one of our Linux dedicated hosting services. We can set up the 32-bit or the 64-bit version, to satisfy the system requirements of the applications that you need to install on the server. You may also choose the software which will operate on your machine, due to the fact that we will install only the Apache web server software, so everything else can be tailor-made software that you choose. You are able to set up the latter without any problems from a Secure Shell console, because you'll receive root-level access and you will have full control of the hosting server. You are free to install a web hosting Control Panel too and control some things from a graphical interface, as long as it can function on an Ubuntu-driven machine. To make things easier for you, we also supply a Managed Services upgrade, that, among other things, features OS updates.
