File Manager in Shared Web Hosting
The File Manager tool, that is part of our in-house developed Hepsia CP, will allow you to administer all the files that you upload to your shared web hosting account without any difficulty. You may move files and whole folders by dragging-and-dropping them inside the account. You may upload content in the same way - choose a file/folder on your personal computer and drag it to your browser where the File Manager is loaded. By right-clicking a file or a folder within your account, you can also access context menus with more complex options - you shall be able to set up or to unpack an archive, to set up a password-protected area, to modify the UNIX permissions via a web interface or to edit the content with a variety of editors without ever leaving the Control Panel – a code editor, an HTML editor or a plain text editor. We've also included help articles and instructional videos, that you can access from the File Manager to learn more about its functions.
File Manager in Semi-dedicated Hosting
The File Manager tool, which is an important part of our custom Hepsia hosting Control Panel, shall give you total control over your data and will eliminate the need of employing third-party applications. If you want to upload a file to your semi-dedicated server account, you shall only have to drag-and-drop it, since the File Manager supports uploads, so you'll not have to use an FTP client anymore. You will also be able to transfer folders and files in your account just as fast and their structure will be kept the same. If you want to change the permissions of any file, to create a password-protected area for a domain name or a subdomain or to edit a file by using a plain text or an HTML editor, you'll simply have to use the right-click, since you may access all these functions using right-click context menus - you’ll feel like you’re working on your computer system. To make handling your content much easier, you shall be able to sort it in ascending or descending order by size, name or last modified date.
